Rescue Miriam!

Meriam-IbrahimDaniel Wani, an American citizen, was not able to celebrate Father’s Day, with his wife and two tiny American children. They cower in a filthy, bug-infested prison thousands of miles away in Sudan, where the mother, Meriam Ibrahim, is chained to a prison cell wall. After weaning her new-born baby, she is sentenced to receive 100 lashes and then be hung by the neck till dead—unless she renounces her Christian faith!

Still, President Obama, sits on his hands — refusing even to release a simple statement condemning the Sudanese government or to leverage our hundreds of millions of dollars in foreign aid. Some British papers now report the 27-year-old wife of this American citizen could face the barbaric practice of flogging in days, if her appeal is thrown out.

Friends, you can ACT NOW in behalf of this innocent wife and mother, and her two small American children, by signing the important petition at RescueMiriam.com .
