Christ is Risen–Indeed!

Easter LillyThese beautiful days of spring cause me to smile—just to be alive! Here in California, my rose bushes are already blooming and my fig tree is starting to show fruit!

I also found these recent days of Lent, leading up to Resurrection Sunday, were so spiritually significant, as well. We were reminded that God knows us personally. He loves us and cares for us each day. He desires the very best for us! He really does!

He is not surprised by our sins and failures. In fact, He knows our weaknesses better than we do ourselves! And, He has provided an infinitely adequate remedy in the Person of His Son—who lived for us; who died for us; who rose again from the dead, FOR US!

Now, God has given His Holy Spirit to indwell us—to live the life of God in us—to produce the life of Christ through us: to empower us to be what we ought to be and what we sincerely desire to be. All the resources we need for life here and now—and in the eternal future—God has given us in His Son! Join me in rejoicing in these truths during this post-Easter season, as we now look forward toward Pentecost Sunday!

Christ is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!
