Counseling Same-Sex Confusion

Statue-censoredSometimes the aggressive, ideologically-liberal Southern Poverty Law Center, seems less about poverty and more about preventing religious liberties. Such is the case when they use their multi-million-dollar stash of donated reserves to sue Jews Offering New Alternatives for Healing (JONAH)—alleging fraud for offering counseling for un-wanted same-sex confusion.

Under questioning in court by Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund President Charles Li Mandri, counsel for JONAH, Dr. Carol Bernstein, a New York University professor and an expert witness paid by the plaintiffs, conceded:

  1. Science has not determined the roots of sexual identity.
  2. Sexual orientation is fluid and mutable.
  3. People have the right to change their sexual behavior.
  4. If someone approaches a therapist about unwanted same-sex attraction, the therapist should not tell that person to simply self-identify as gay and ignore their wishes.

DNA confirms that we are biologically created as males or females. There is no confusion about that. And, God’s word tells believers that our bodies are temples where the Holy Spirit lives and are to be used to honor Him. (1 Corinthians 6:12-20).
