2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition

sports-illustratedThe National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCSE) has reviewed the cover of the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and believes it borders obscenity, as the model is pulling down her bikini bottom to reveal her pubic area.

At a minimum, these concerned citizens believe the depiction likely violates state statutes, commonly known as “harmful to minors” laws, prohibiting displays of sexually explicit material to children.

They are asking concerned parents to join them in urging that the magazine be removed from the eye-level of children and patrons, who don’t want to be exposed to near nudity and porn, in the stores where you shop, like Wal-Mart, Kroger, Walgreens, Safeway, and Barnes & Noble.

TAKE ACTION and share your concerns and community standards by asking retailers to protect children and other patrons from this visual assault at the checkout line. This explicit swimsuit edition should be wrapped and restricted, like pornographic magazines would be in their stores.
