“The True ‘Spirit’ of Christmas”

CelebrateJESUSCharles Morris, the speaker on HAVEN TODAY, is currently reminding us about “The True ‘Spirit’ of Christmas.” He draws important insight from Isaiah, who prophesied (Is. 44:3) that God would pour out His Spirit like water poured over thirsty ground.

Currently, drought-stricken Southern California is experiencing a season of rain! Some forecasters are saying that we are getting the beginnings of a “river of rain.” I’m not sure what that means—for us, but I do know that our church has been praying for “measurable rain that is enough to end the drought!”

Isaiah’s prophecy was fulfilled when “Jesus was born in Bethlehem,” to offer salvation and satisfaction to the whole world.  What will your family gathering or office party be like, because YOU are there? Will that “thirsty ground” find the true “Spirit of Christmas,” because of your positive and joy-filled presence?

Be refreshed by God’s “rivers of living water” and use your religious freedoms to share it with others, this Christmas season!
