Thank You Google

ThankYou_GOOGLEFor decades, Morality in Media has sought to “defend dignity and protect innocence.” They have done a lot of good work, against great odds and opposition. This was never truer than when their PornHarms.com project sought to stop sexual exploitation and block pornography via the behemoth giant, Google.

For two years in a row they placed Google on their Dirty Dozen List of top pornography facilitators in America. They also launched a public campaign to get thousands of ordinary citizens to contact Google by email and phone, to urge the company to get out of the porn business—for the sake of our children and families. Last month, representatives of Morality in Media met with Google executives and it turns out they are as concerned about the influence of pornography on their children as MIM.

As a result, Google just announced it is stopping all advertisements for pornography as well as all ads that link to sexually explicit websites! Further, Google also agreed to stop offering sexually explicit apps in their phone app store, Google Play.

Now, it is time to send Google a big “Thank You!”

Also, please consider a financial donation to Morality in Media for these important efforts! Every penny helps them defend dignity and protect innocence.
