Income Inequality?

MoneywithbandaidSome politicians are talking a lot about income inequality, while our Founders talked about equal opportunity.

It is the breakdown of marriage and the absence of fathers that are the leading causes of income inequality. Married couples live longer, are healthier, and live more prosperous lives. Their children are better cared for, do better in school, and have higher economic mobility.

Sadly, abortions and no-fault-divorce laws have undermined traditional marriage and caused unintended economic consequences, driving divorced people to live near or in poverty. Broken families have forced many single parents and their children to the rolls of welfare.

We need more traditional families, raising traditional children in the pursuit of “life, liberty, and happiness.” As traditional families multiply, they will renew the needed tax base to sustain the quality of life and personal freedoms for us all.
