Ethical Challenges

California_CapitalbuildingAs our society turns away from principles of right and wrong, derived from Judeo-Christian training, we are often left with private ethical collapses or public moral scandals—individually, in our businesses and in our government.

California now has three state senators whose personal and public sense of right and wrong failed them. One has been convicted of election fraud and perjury. Another has been arrested on money laundering and gun-running charges and the third is awaiting trial on bribery and a host of other charges.

Sadly, the Democrat majority in our state legislature refused to expel their ethically-challenged colleagues. Finally, responding to a public outcry, this dominating party has now acted to “suspend” them—while being careful to see that the three senators’ salaries and benefits continue to be paid!

Let’s teach our families to avoid ethical challenges by hearing and heeding their moral consciences and discerning right from wrong.
