Modern Civilization?

young_peopleA whole generation of American young people has grown up never having known a time when abortions were legally prohibited. Perhaps that explains the cavalier comments and actions of young people about human life. In their experience, sexual mistakes can merely be flushed away.

Young people can courageously believe it’s morally wrong to kill innocent human beings at the Boston Marathon and that the Jewish and Armenian Holocausts of last century were evil. Ironically, they can righteously denounce the murderous regimes of dictators like Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse-Tung and Pol Pot, and yet fail to understand that every modern-day abortion barbarically slaughters an innocent human being.

In fact, in the 41 years since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, an estimated 56 million gruesome deaths of innocent, preborn babies have resulted.

This is modern civilization?

Thank you for this honest, brave, and passionate piece! Reading pieces like this, and seeing the stupendous turnout at March for Life, really remind me that Truth will never die. I want to share this recent piece on putting an end to abortion euphemisms; may it also encourage you: http://karenwriteshere.com/2014/01/23/enough-with-the-endless-abortion-euphemisms/
