Free Saeed!

Abedini-FamilyRecently a special  day of prayer was called for Pastor Saeed Abedini, an American citizen who has been imprisoned in Iran for his Christian faith. He was arrested in September (2012) after he returned to Iran to visit his family and help in an orphanage. Having been charged with blasphemy and converting to Christianity, he has been forced to suffer in one of Iran’s most notorious prisons, where he has been subjected to physical assault, as well as severe interrogations and periods of solitary confinement.

His wife was able to present a letter, appealing for Saeed’s release, to Iran’s new President, during his recent visit to the United Nations. She and children continue to live In Idaho, where their friends and neighbors join with Christian believers around the world to ask God for His mercy to save Pastor Saeed and others being persecuted for their faith.
