Remembering the “Red Line”

syriaPresident Obama told reporters at a White House press briefing one year ago that if Syrian President Assad used chemical weapons in their civil-war, it would be “a red line for us.”

Now, US Secretary of State John Kerry says chemical weapons were used by Syrian forces on August 21 of this year, resulting in over 1400 civilians killed, including 426 children.

That awful action, especially the killing of children, is what President Obama says drew him to threaten a “limited, targeted military response.” The killing of children crossed the “red line.”

Yet, in America the “red line” is crossed daily, as over 3200 pre-born babies are aborted. That’s one pre-born baby killed every 26 seconds. Chemical weapons may have been used on the children of Syria, but chemical abortions are performed on pre-born children in America everyday.
