Keep Boy Scouts Straight!

emblemIn a matter of days, the Boy Scouts of America is scheduled to decide whether it will keep a long standing policy of not allowing homosexuals to serve as volunteer leaders. Reportedly, they are considering a major change, which would allow each Boy Scout regional council to determine if practicing homosexuals can participate in the local Scouting program.

Many feel that if this historic association departs from its traditional values, to accommodate homosexuals by allowing scoutmasters and boys with homosexual orientation into the program, it will harm the moral stability of the institution and the physical security of the individuals.

While news articles conclude the change is a forgone conclusion, the final decision has not been made. You can TAKE ACTION NOW!

Call the Boy Scout national council office at 972-580-2000 and urge them to stand firm on the current policy.

Let’s keep Boy Scouts of American “morally straight!”

NOTE: You can still take a stand by calling Boy Scout Board Members, who hold the fate of this policy in their hands. For a list of numbers, please log on to the Family Research Council website and encourage your friends and family to do the same!
