National Adoption Month

At this special Thanksgiving season, spent with families and loved ones, we want to remind you that November is National Adoption Month.

One of our key programmers is Focus On The Family.* Their president, Jim Daly, is asking us to join our voices with them to advocate for orphans and other vulnerable children. They are pointing us to another meaningful ministry, Cry of the Orphan, which is making a life-changing difference in the lives of lonely and hurting children.

Scripture instructs us to “Defend the cause of the weak and the fatherless …” (Psalm 82:3). As you take time to pray on Thanksgiving, would you include all the children throughout the world still waiting for permanent families? In preparation, you can download your Adoption & Orphan Care Resource guide and learn more about making a difference in the life of a waiting child today.

For the “…cause of the weak and the fatherless…,” we say thank you!

* Listen to Focus On The Family weekdays at 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time).
