Brown Signs Bad Bills

Gov. Jerry Brown recently signed into law a series of bad bills.

The California Family Council reports this now means:

  • the definition of marriage has been redefined (SB 1140),
  • children who have been molested and now suffer gender confusion are banned from certain professional counseling (SB 1172),
  • all foster parents must undergo pro-lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender sensitivity training (AB 1856), and
  • LGBT business owners have been granted protected class status that will be monitored by the state (AB 1960).

Beyond the shock and shame of these bad bills are the bad legislators, who originated and voted for them. The lesson learned is that elections can have unintended consequences!

When you vote November 6th, be mindful that character counts and values matter. Unless the candidates share your moral viewpoints on life, marriage and religious liberties, they are not going to vote in a manner that represents your values.
