Our Entitlement Problems

One former presidential candidate described the major entitlement programs of Social Security and Medicare as “Ponzi schemes.” That’s because they only work if the number of new people entering the system increases proportionately to the number of people entitled to what’s available in the system.

Presently, we only have 4.6 working age Americans for every citizen over the age of 65. It is projected that, in just a generation, the ratio will be just 2.7 workers. Entitlement programs are the major reason America is going broke.

But not the only reason: For the last 40 years, Americans have aborted over 53 million babies! These were future tax payers and job creators. Add to this infanticide by abortion the rejection of traditional marriage, which averages nearly three children per family, and you have a gaping hole in the entitlement supply-line. Without babies, the modern welfare state is impossible!
