Behind Parent’s Backs?

Jesus said: “… whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.”  Mark 9:42 (NKJV)

In 2009, Governor Schwarzenegger signed a law establishing every May 22 as “Harvey Milk Day” in K-12 public schools in California, to teach children (as young as 5 years old) to honor the homosexual activist.  It states Mr. Milk embodied “… the rise of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) civil rights movement in California, across the nation, and throughout the world.”

However, it’s up to teachers, principals, and school districts to decide whether or how to teach impressionable children to honor Harvey Milk or his unhealthy behavior choices. Concerned parents need to pro-actively urge teachers and school officials to avoid this controversial indoctrination of a social agenda, which is in conflict with the moral values of their homes.
