Obamacare Threatens Religious Freedoms

The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear arguments on the constitutionality of the Administration’s controversial national health care plan *, commonly called “Obamacare.

Filled with broad government regulations, that many feel collide with individual and state liberties, Obamacare also threatens to undermine fundamental religious freedoms.

Craig Parshall, General Council for the National Religious Broadcasters and husband of KTLW talk-show programmer Janet Parshall, says, “While there is a semblance of a religious exemption in the plan…it is desperately anemic.”

It would, for instance, require Christian colleges and universities, with student medical services, to violate their moral and religious beliefs by requiring these institutions to have plans, or to provide services, that would cover contraceptive drugs that can be used for abortion, as well as insuring pro-abortion counseling.

May God help us!
